How to produce laminated glass with silicone vacuum bag?

Lay a flat glass on a horizontal mould

Spread several pieces of Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer Film on the glass

Place another piece of flat glass on the Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer Film

Cover the surface with deciduate Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer Film , with the pressure-sensitive tape to fix it; and use the ventilated felt to cover the edges and corners of the glass, so as to prevent puncturing the silicone vacuum bag.

Fill the vaccum bag with that flat glass, and seal up the silicone vacuum bag with sealing joint strip

Install the vaccum valve, and use the high-speed connector to join the vaccum pipe.

Vaccum-pumping

Heat the glass in the oven with 120-130℃, then keep warm.

Decreass the temperature to room temperature, and then take the laminated glass out of the oven.

Remove the deciduate film, ventilated felt and silicone vacuum bag.

Place the laminated glass into a autoclave, heat up and press, press the laminated glass into the shickness required.

The reasons to use deciduate film are as follows:

to prevent the meltedEthylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer Film beeing sticken to the silicone vacuum bag, so as to improve the product’s outlook; meanwhile it’s more comvenient to decidate the leaking Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer Film .

The film Ethylene-vinyl acetate EVA Interlayer Film overflow a little after it’s melted, but the spillage will not be a lot, so as to maintain the edges’ smoothness.
